Said T. Daneshmand, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Said Daneshmand is an internationally recognized fertility specialist with extensive experience in providing third-party reproductive services.
Dr. Daneshmand serves on the board of several surrogacy advocacy groups. He has collaborated to develop in vitro fertilization (IVF) protocols to improve pregnancy rates, including PTEC (post-thaw extended culture), which is one of the most successful IVF regimens currently available. These groundbreaking findings were published in the internationally respected medical journal, Fertility and Sterility, where Dr. Daneshmand also served as a reviewer.
Dr. Daneshmand completed his fellowship and residency at UCLA. He is specialty board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and sub specialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology.
Among his achievements, Dr. Daneshmand is the recipient of numerous awards including the Eileen Pike Medical School Valedictorian Award and the PCRS Fellowship and Practicing Physician Research Award. He has served as the President of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society (Iota Chapter) and is a member of the Decherney Society, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). Dr. Daneshmand speaks French, Spanish and Farsi.
Dr. Daneshmand has an expertise in complex IVF cases, and his research has featured work on endometrial receptivity as a way to maximize the probability of success during IVF. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in egg donation and surrogacy, and is one of the main providers on third-party care in the United States, with patients traveling from more than 40 countries in 2018 alone. Dr. Daneshmand has presented his research all over the world, including many presentations to leading IVF experts in China. He is known for developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies, including NGS (next generation sequencing), the latest and most precise technique for assessing embryonic genetic health.

Reproductive Endocrinologist
Dr. Kettel is board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Obstetrics & Gynecology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Kettel is also certified as a High Complexity Laboratory Director with additional expertise in Human Embryology and Andrology. He joined the San Diego Fertility Center in 1996 after serving as the Director of Infertility Services and as a member of the academic faculty at the University of California, San Diego for more than 6 years. He is a member of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
Reproductive Endocrinologist
Dr. Park is a fertility doctor double board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She spent the first 10 years of her career as a fertility physician at Columbia University in New York City, considered to be one of the leading IVF programs in the USA. She joined the San Diego Fertility Center in 2012 where she combines her extensive experience as an infertility physician with personal care. In 2017 and 2019, Dr. Park was named "Top Doctor" by the San Diego County Medical Society (SDCMS) in San Diego Magazine.
Reproductive Endocrinologist
Dr. Friedman is double-board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Friedman is the author of several published book chapters and articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented award-winning research at national meetings. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society. Her scientific areas of interest include: optimizing embryo transfer technique, recurrent pregnancy loss, diminished ovarian reserve, depression treatment, and infertility outcomes.
Reproductive Endocrinologist
Dr. Chuan is double-board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She has extensive experience in complex IVF cases and third-party reproduction. Her particular areas of interest include PCOS, diminished ovarian reserve, fertility preservation, mini stimulation, male factor infertility and PGT. She is also passionate about family building for patients who hope to become parents through egg donation and/or surrogacy. As a result of her extensive research experience, Dr. Chuan is able to critically evaluate new data in the ever-changing field of assisted reproductive technology and incorporate the latest scientific knowledge into clinical care.
